I am doing research in decision support system of Rheumatic Fever & Rheumatic Heart Diseases in Nepal and possibly suitable for other developing countries of the World.  This research will assist for rural health worker, health assistant & inexperienced doctors to make a diagnosis (“Recognition and Treatment”) of RF and RHD in an early stage.

Computer-based medical diagnostic systems are currently in use in most developed countries. Unfortunately most developing countries, these technologies are still not available. Although the countries have invested in Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs), the use of Computer-based medical diagnosis system has not been explored at all. I am very much interested to do research in healthcare modelling in the developing countries.
