Broad experience of applications of OR and Statistics in Healthcare, including: evaluating immunisation strategies in Tanzania, inpatient costing for hospital trusts, impact of rurality on access to and cost of services, performance improvement, workforce planning, waiting list management, and improving patient flows in hospitals and primary care
Special interest and expertise in appropriate use of stochastic models (e.g. queueing models and simulation models) to reduce congestion in accessing healthcare, including outpatient clinics, hospital waiting lists, walk-in centres and A&E
