I have spent most of my working life in health and social care, and latterly was the lead developer for the NHS of the Scenario Generator simulation and modelling tool. This was created to help healthcare users to answer strategic modelling questions about population/disease drive demand, service redesign and reconfiguration and their impact on indivual services, care pathways and the whole healthcare system. The license is now held in 130 Primary Care Trusts and some Health Boards in Scotland.
I now work for SIMUL8 Corporation to support simulation and modelling in the healthcare community.
