Prof Peter Millard

Visiting Professor

Emeritus Professor of Geriatrics St George’s Hospital Medical School . Experience gained in the development of clinical and social systems to meet the needs of an ageing population led to interest in measuring and modelling he care processes. MD 1988 developed a two compartment model of flow in geriatrics: 16 year data set. Model of flow developed with Prof Gary Harrison (US) led to 1992 PhD. Flow rate modeling: a method of comparing performance in departments of geriatric medicine, Since 1990’s collaboration with Prof Sally McClean (NI) has led to stochastic as well as deterministic models of flow. At Westminster assists Drs Thierry Chaussalet ( Cavendish School ) and Elia ElDarzi ( Harrow campus) in PhD and research.
